劍橋合唱團 2016春季音樂會【天上，人間 】

5月21日 晚間7:30  MIT Kresge Auditorium

 劍橋合唱團5月21日星期六晚間7點30分將在麻省理工學院Kresge Auditorium (地址: 48 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA) 舉行2016春季音樂會【天上，人間 】。

本次音樂會，劍橋合唱團將以管風琴與人聲的搭配，帶來不同的合唱體驗。浪漫時期作曲家孟德爾頌的合唱曲「Hear My Prayer聽我祈禱」，將由新英格蘭音樂院聲樂家蒲飛鸰擔任女高音獨唱，加上20世紀英國重量級作曲家布列頓的「Rejoice in the lamb」，兩部以管風琴為伴奏的合唱作品，將令觀眾耳目一新。

蘇格蘭詩人Robert Burns的詩作譜成的合唱曲，再加上40年前琅琅上口的台灣校園民歌「今山古道」、「忘了我是誰」、「浮雲遊子」，曲風時而蕩氣迴腸，時而輕快悠揚，是不能夠錯過的一場音樂饗宴。音樂會將由合唱指揮博士顏毓芬擔任指揮，正在波士頓大學攻讀博士學位的鋼琴家林宜穎擔任伴奏，近40位熱愛合唱音樂的歌手擔綱演出，邀請您一起來享受合唱音樂的美好。自由入場，歡迎您捐款支持。

MIT CCCS 2016 Winter Concert “In Heaven, On Earth”

May 21st, 7:30 PM at MIT Kresge Auditorium

MIT Cambridge Chinese Choral Society (CCCS) will be performing its 2016 Spring Concert “In Heaven, On Earth” on 5/21 Saturday night 7:30 PM at MIT Kresge Auditorium (48 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA).

In this concert, CCCS will be combining the sounds of organ and vocal, bringing a very different choral experience.  CCCS has invited Ms. Fei Ling Pu, a Soprano singer from the New England Conservatory as the soloist for the choral piece “Hear My Prayer” composed by Mendelssohn.  In addition, CCCS will be performing the organ choral piece, “Rejoice in the lamb”, composed by the world renown English Composer Benjamin Britten.  Other songs include choral pieces composed with poems written by the Scottish Poet, Robert Burns, as well as several well-known Taiwanese folk songs.  The concert will bring exciting dynamics to everyone that is not to be missed.

This concert will be conducted by the University of Illinois Choral Conducting DMA Dr. Yufen Yen, and accompanied by current Boston University Piano DMA student I-Ying Lin.  The Spring concert will be free of charge, and fund raising will be based on individual donations.  Please come and experience the wonderful musical performance that we have prepared.

MIT CCCS will begin recruitment for the Fall of 2016 after the concert in May, if you are interested please come talk to us after the concert or email us directly.

一起來體驗合唱的磅礡之美！ 已有24年歷史的劍橋合唱團由一群喜愛合唱的學生及工作人士組成，主要演唱中文歌曲，也時常表演台語客語英語原住民曲目，獲得波士頓地區許多聽眾的肯定。將在五月下旬舉行2016春季公演，即日至一月底止將招募新團員。

現在開始號召更多喜愛唱的朋友加入這歡樂的大家庭。劍橋合唱團每週五晚間8點在 MIT 4-270教室練唱，歡迎喜歡唱歌或有合唱經驗的朋友，1/22，1/29 晚間7:00-8:00前來試音與參加練唱。試音請準備一首自選曲，並事先聯絡約定試音時段。

Cambridge Chinese Choral Society is Auditioning

The Cambridge Chinese Choral Society members consist of students and working professionals in the community performing mainly Chinese choral pieces, as well as other dialects and languages.  The choir will be performing its semester concert in May 2016, and will begin auditioning for new members at the end of January.

The choir will be rehearsing every Friday night at 8 pm in MIT room 4-270.  We welcome interested singers to come and audition on 1/22 and 1/29 between 7 – 8 pm.  Please prepare a song for the audition and call us to make an appointment.
